In the many rounds of interviews surrounding the release of the film, Matt Damon said that before the first Bourne film, ‘The Bourne Identity’, he hadn’t had any offers in 6 months, and then after the film he had 20 offers within a week.
Typical Hollywood, eh?
On the scrap heap, and then bang a big film and suddenly he can act again!
So obviously that film was good news for Damon, along with the sequel ‘The Bourne Supremacy’ and this 3rd film.
The Bourne films have also been good for people who know how to profit from big film successes.
Here are 3 ways….
The first way is to be an affiliate.
You send traffic to a company’s site, and if someone buys, the software tracks it as referred by you, and you earn a commission.
Film fans are big poster buyers, and there’s a big poster store online that has affiliates making 5 figure sums per month!
A second way to profit from films is to run your own site - selling anything to do with films, memorabilia maybe.
Again, some people use the ebay site and large amounts of money - very large!
The third way is the method I prefer, and it’s to use the information highway to provide just that, information!
Film fans have and almost insatiable appetite for information, and happily pay for it - so you could write a blog, run a membership site, etc.
There are lots of ways to make money from films - in Matt Damon’s case, it’s by acting, but unless you’re as fortunate as him, you can still use the other methods to turn the Bourne Ultimatum film into an income stream.
